Benefits
No Shearing-St. Croix Hair Sheep shed their coat in spring and their coat gets fuller in the fall.
Parasite Resistance-The breed holds the highest parasite resistance. We have not wormed our sheep.
High Lambing Percentage-Ewes typically have multiple births, with some having triplets and quadruples. St. Croix also ovulate during all months.
Good Mothers-Ewes are very attentive to their young. We've had multiple ewes that had triplet ewe lambs and she raised all 3.
